New media like search results, blogs, social media, websites or text messages.

There are two types of advertising.

They are:

1. Creative 2. Directional

Both are precious for an advertising plan, but it depends on what you want to accomplish with your plan.

You should learn what kind of marketing or advertising strategy you are engaged in today’s economy.

So, you don’t waste your money going after the wrong audience.

  1. Creative advertising

Creates awareness, needs, or brand in the marketplace. spread your message across a wide area or audience or otherwise known as a shot-gun approach.

You are trying to create an interest in your product or service.

There are many ways to target your audience, such as running your ad on a specific radio station for their demographics.

Some examples of creative advertising: TV, radio, online display, newspapers, magazines and direct mail.

  1. Directional advertising:

In directional advertising, you place business in front of people looking for your product or service.

I think your audience knows what you want, however; they do not identify who to call. So, it is essential to be in front of consumers toward the end of the buying cycle.

Some examples of directional advertising: print and electronic yellow pages, search engine marketing and online review sites such as Yelp.

Video advertising

Video advertisement surrounds with online display advertisements. Which have video within them, but they accept it it refers to advertising that occurs before, during and/or after a video stream on the internet.

Advertisement units used are pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll and these ad units are like the traditional spot advertising you see on television.

They are cut-down to be a shorter version than their TV counterparts if it runs them online.

The broadcasting websites like Sky.com and itv.com have such advertising on their sites.

New video ad for Face ID on iPhone X

Apple puts a new video ad for face ID on the iPhone X in July 2018.

That ad specifically contains a face ID biometric feature that replaces the Touch ID fingerprint sensor seen on the older iPhone.

As you can notice, it has a fun game show vibe, and it is basically all about a man trying to remember the password he set for an online account.

Spoiler alert: he need not remember the password because he has an iPhone X, and, to quote Apple in the ad, your face is your password in that case.

Before introducing this video, apple shared three videos on the YouTube channel in 2017. About quick clips that focus on select iPhone X features like portrait lighting and face ID.

In the first video, it tells about Opens with a Glance. Displays the following words “introducing the most unforgettable magical password ever created”.

In the second video, the theme is adapted to your face. it was previously available on the apple Canadian YouTube channel.

It highlights the machine learning techniques used to allow face ID to adapt to beards, hats, sunglasses, and other facial changes.

The third video, introducing portrait lighting. Shows the portrait lighting feature available on the iPhone X.

Portrait lighting lows users to adjust the lighting in an image using depth mapping techniques.
