Instead of consisting a virtual home button, the “iPhone8” has a new software bar introducing new gesture which helps in returning to home screen and switching between apps.

On every single iPhone model, instead of the home button, there is premium handset which has an edge-to-edge OLED display.
A recent new report claims that Apple won’t hide the “notch” at the top of the “iPhone 8” OLED display.

A new report states that instead of emulating home button the “iPhone 8” have “thin, software bar” which help users to drag up to the middle of the screen to open the phone. Replacing the double-tap of the home button, multitasking gesture is invoked.
This multitasking view is redesigned, which presents recently used apps as “a series of standalone cards that can be swiped through, versus the stack of cards on current iPhones.”

The difference between iPhone 8 and the iOS 11 on iPad is “iPhone 8” has a new “software bar” helping users access to navigate the phone, but the functionality is somewhat similar.

The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity will be displayed. There is also a larger lock/power button on the right side of the handset, and a metal band around the exterior with antenna cuts. “iPhone 8” includes faster processors and wireless charging.
